What do the buttons mean?

Before you start, it’s useful to know what the main symbols mean:

+ (Plus)
Use this when you want to add.
Example: You have 5 and add 5 more.

− (Minus)
Use this when you want to subtract or remove something.
Example: You have 10 cookies and eat 2.

× or * (Multiplication)
A quick way to add the same number multiple times.
Example: You buy 3 packs that each cost 100.

÷ or / (Division)
Use this to split something evenly.
Example: Two people split 1,000 equally between them.

= (Equals)
This is the most important button. Press it to see the result.

C or AC
This is the “eraser.” Press it to clear everything and start again.
